Trump Reacts to Anti-American NFL, Contact Every American to Do This

The National Football League has been swept with an anti-American craze, as dozens of players, despite being paid millions of dollars, have begun protesting the national anthem. In response, President Trump just called on every single American to do something about it.

The “taking a knee,” during the national anthem trend started with Colin Kaepernick, and quickly spread throughout the NFL. Many players such as Eric Reid, Jamie Collins, and Martellus Bennet have joined in on the fad, and begun protesting the national anthem—and while they claim it’s to stand against “racial injustice,” many believe otherwise.

Some have wondered whether this new wave of social justice warrior type protesting is being allowed in a marketing ploy, with the NFL attempting to garner a broader base of viewers. If this is the case, it’s certainly not a smart business move as the core base of the NFL is made up of almost entirely Budweiser-loving, flag-saluting Americans.

If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!

President Trump knows this, and he understands that the NFL is no match for the very people which watch it—and that’s why he’s calling on every single American to boycott games where the players protest the national anthems.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say get that son of a bitch off the field right now?” Trump said at a rally in Alabama. He was met with widespread applause. Despite this, many have fired back at Trump claiming that the players have a right to protest whatever they see fit.

Robert Kraft, Chairman and CEO of the New England Patriots, said that he’s “deeply disappointed” by the President’s actions, and that he wants to promote his players’ rights to “peacefully affect social change and raise awareness.” It seems that he didn’t watch the full speech, however, because President Trump already addressed this.

…NFL attendance and ratings are WAY DOWN. Boring games yes, but many stay away because they love our country. League should back U.S.

He noted that while it’s certainly their right to protest the flag, it’s not at all respectful to this country—and this is precisely the issue. Americans aren’t denying that these people have a right to protest our flag and express their first amendment rights, we’re upset because nothing is being done to penalize their blatantly anti-American and hypocritical actions.

AFP reports:

Washington (AFP) – President Donald Trump on Sunday urged fans to boycott National Football League games to pressure it to fire or suspend players who kneel in protest during the national anthem, intensifying a battle over politics, social justice and race in America’s most popular sport.

But in the first NFL game since Trump touched off the spat Friday with an expletive-laden speech to supporters in Alabama, at least a dozen players on the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonsville Jaguars, playing in London, took a knee Sunday during the playing of “The Star-Spangled banner.”

Trump’s latest salvo came in an early morning tweet in which he said: “If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag and Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!”

“NFL attendance and ratings are WAY DOWN. Boring games yes, but many stay away because they love our country. League should back U.S.,” he said.

NFL ratings are in fact down but the decline predates the kneeling-during-the-anthem protests, the New York Times reported.

Kaepernick’s protest was aimed at drawing more attention to treatment of minorities in America following a spate of deadly police shootings of black men. He has since been unable to sign with any NFL team, and some say he was quietly blackballed. But support for his position snowballed and other players have started protesting in the same way he did.

Many Americans have already made the decision to boycott the NFL, understanding that by viewing a game they are indirectly supporting those players. Liberals have long understood this, which is why they’ve been pressuring companies (such as the Christian bakery) into following their ridiculous politically correct rules, and now it’s our turn.

What do you think? If you’re going to boycott games where the NFL protests the national anthem, then please give this article a share. Thank you and God bless!
