Trump claims GOP memo totally vindicates ‘Trump’

President Trump stated Saturday early morning that a disputed four-page Home Intelligence Committee memo, made up by It’s unclear why the president put his last name in quote marks, although he often mentions himself in the third-person, and the tweet utilized the word “their” rather of “there.” The president is in Palm Beach, Fla., this weekend, and the tweet came minutes after his motorcade left his personal club, en path to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.The GOP memowas composed by the personnel of Home Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and declares the FBI abused its surveillance authority, particularly when it looked for a secret court order to monitor a previous Trump project adviser, Carter Page. The FBI and the Justice Department lobbied versus the release of the memo, with the FBI stating that it was “gravely concerned” that crucial realities were missing from it.

It is uncertain whether Trump will utilize the memo to fire individuals associated with the Russia probe, including Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, who supervises it. Asked Friday by a press reporter whether he was most likely to fire Rosenstein after the release of the memo and whether he had confidence in him, Trump replied, “You figure that one out.” Democrats cautioned versus any terminations at the Justice Department, saying such moves would activate a constitutional crisis.
