Report: Male arrested near White House had weapons in cars and truck

WASHINGTON– A guy jailed Sunday near the White House had a cache of weapons in his cars and truck, and said he had a visit with top administration officials.According to CNN officers from the U.S. Secret Service Uniform Department approached the male outside the Renwick Gallery, at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street, near the White Home, as he was apparently eliminating himself.The suspect informed officers and agents he was headed to the White House, and desired to consult with National Security Firm Director Admiral Mike Rogers and Defense Secretary James Mattis”for suggestions on missing paychecks and the best ways to get the chip out of my head,”inning accordance with the incident report gotten by CNN.The guy acknowledged having a number of weapons in his 2009 Silver Nissan with Tennessee Fraternal Order of Authorities license plates, and granted a search.Police found 9 guns, including a number of handguns and assault-style rifles, along with three knives, brass knuckles, suppressors and ammunition.CNN reports the male was required to a D.C. center “for psychological observation,”and was later on accuseded of a number of weapons violations at an authorities station.The post Report: Man arrested near White House had weapons in car appeared first on WTOP.
