Hyderabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has dared BJP president Amit Shah to contest from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, stating it is not as simple as “consuming cake”.
Owaisi, the sitting MP from Hyderabad, stated his party would ensure that the BJP lost from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency, held by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, and 5 Assembly seats the saffron celebration has in the city.
“You (BJP) desire to contest Hyderabad … you are welcome. However why are you preparing to field somebody else? You (Shah) come and contest.
“Hyderabad ki seat jeetenge … is it like consuming a cake?
